Year of life
Waving goodbye to the bygone days,
The rotating earth reminds us of mutability,
No change can be made against the course of time,
Moving forward like a current.
A new year comes as the previous year ends,
LIfe moves with the rush of time,
From trees spring new buds,
But why do we remain sluggish?
Incessanty time passes,
Hurrying we thus fulfill duties,
Resuming an active role,
While months and years are in full flow.
Had our old year been filled with suffering,
Open up our heart to an auspicious beginning,
Those who lost must start anew,
Fighting hard while life continues.
